Carlo Giuliano English enamelled gold bonbonniere, circa 1900, circular box with detachable cover, the top, sides and underside engine turned and enamelled in pearlescent and green banding, marked 'C&AG', 40mm diameter, gross weight approx. 41.6g

The cover has a number of light scratches visible through a 10x loupe. There are minute knocks to the gold edges, the worst being on the underside lip of the cover. There is also a jeweller's scratch on the inside of the flange. Maker's mark is on the outer edge of the flange on the base (see image). The sides have very, very minor surface scratches visible only through a 10x loupe. The mark is clear and the underside of the box is in good condition, with only one visible scratch as such.
