Anglo-Indian ebony armchair, circa 1900, having a shaped cresting rail over a twisted stick back and arms, cane seat, raised on turned and slightly splayed forelegs, height 104cm, width 54cm

More Information

It would appear that someone has reattached the top rail to the uprights and in the process has neglected to cross over two of the upright sticks. The cane seat is a replacement. There are some small chips, old ones, around the base of the front and back feet. There is a crack visible on the front of the top rail, which doesn't appear on the back. No further damages found.
