Hunt & Roskell, late Storr & Mortimer, a fine amethyst, pearl and diamond pendant necklace, circa 1870, the Brazilian chain necklace supporting three large amethyst cabochons crossed with rose cut diamonds and centred with a pearl and enclosed in yellow gold collet mounts, the largest 20mm x 16mm, surmounted with a further pearl and suspended beneath yellow gold crossed lozenge links centred with a small cushion cut diamond, and having a further, finer Brazilian chain garlanded between the stones, the whole united by an engraved barrel clasp, length 39cm, drop 36mm, gross weight approx. 38.1g, contained within the original fitted Morocco leather case

Condition report is done as if you are looking at the necklace being worn. The right hand cabochon droplet is missing one small diamond just beneath the pearl adjacent to the mount. All the other stones are good as is the gold throughout. The original case has some spot stains inside and a very small area above the name that is shot. The exterior is good.
