Fees

William IV mahogany breakfront press cupboard, circa 1835, centred with two flame mahogany panel doors opening to hanging space, over two long drawers flanked to the left with seven short drawers and to the right with a hanging cupboard with a blind seven drawer front, all raised on a plinth base, width 252cm, depth 72cm, height 195cm

More Information

Slight fading to the central part and the right hand side cupboard. The central press is devoid of trays and has a replacement hanging rail. A circle of moulding is currently detached from the lower column of the central part but is present. There are small losses to the mouldings on the lower part of the outer columns. There is some moulding loss to the back left edge of the cornice and a section missing from the extreme back left edge, these are both in the same area (see image). There are small knocks to the beaded edging consistent with age and use. Overall this is a handsome piece of furniture which would benefit from some light restoration.
