Silver gilt pair cased verge pocket watch, signed E W D Bayley, London, circa 1740, plain polished outer case, silver 36mm matted dial, inscribed to the centre 'John Ballard' (probably the first owner), outer minutes and enamelled Roman numerals, beetle and poker hands, gilt fusee movement, signed and numbered '105', square baluster pillars, the case marked 'G B' for George Bruvet, the inner case numbered '105', outer case 49mm diameter

Very fine and minor surface scratches. Later gilded, later glass. The dial has minor signs of wear. Winding smoothly but please note our special conditions.
