Fees

Emerald and diamond cluster ring, in the manner of Andrew Grima, probably mid 1970s, set with ten round cut emeralds and six similar sized round cut diamonds, total diamond weight estimated as 0.35ct, asymmetrically set in a naturalistic yellow gold openwork setting, marked '18ct', size U, gross weight 11.8g

More Information

when viewed through a 10x loupe the emeralds are showing fissures and one stone is chipped. The diamonds also have inclusions and the odd fissure exhibiting at the surface of the table. The ring has either been repaired or enlarged at the base and there is a small crack showing at the join. In our opinion this is a rebuild at the bottom of the ring due to wear.
