More Information

One of the pear cut emeralds has tiny chips at the edge near the point and at the base of the stone, just visible through a 10x loupe. This stone could be described as cloudy with better clarity at the edges. The other stone has better clarity but still some inclusions with some dark ones noted. The round cut emeralds are well matched in colour and clarity to the accompanying stones. Both earrings appear to have repairs beneath the round cuts, one being a silver solder, the other being gold. The earrings have closed backs. There is some wear to the collet and claw mounts. Overall the surface facets are pretty good with only a tiny amount of wear found and the most minute fissure surfacing.
