Set of six Regency mahogany bar back dining chairs, circa 1820, each with green fabric upholstered drop in seat raised on moulded sabre legs

Overall the chairs are in good condition. There are signs of old woodworm flight holes within the blocks of the chair seats ie under the upholstered seat itself. One chair is a little weak, another has a repair on the upright where it attaches to the top rail. They are all of an even colour and have the usual minor knocks and scrapes consistent with age and normal use. One has repairs to the back uprights attaching the top rail but virtually invisible from the front. Seats would benefit from reupholstery. No further damage detected.
