In Holland: Slight rubbing and soiling to the cover. The frontispiece and part of the book coming away from the spine. Slight soiling to the pages in places.
Auto Go-Cart: Rubbing to the edges of the cover and surface losses and scratches, non interfering with the illustration or wording apart from one scratch which goes through 'Upton'. There is a crack to the front cover, running from the top across the corner nearly to the spine. The back cover has a similar crease, which almost mirrors the one on the front. rubbing to the corners. Ring mark and discolouration. Inside the book lacks it front end paper. Some spotting and slight soiling to the pages. Minor foxing. No end paper.
Fox Hunt: Slight soiling to the cover and rubbing to the edges, the book breaking away from the spine. Slight foxing but otherwise the pages are pretty clean. With end papers.
Christmas: Soiling to the outside edge of the cover and old crease mark lower right corner and upper right. Missing the front end paper. Very slight discolouration to the pages but nothing major.
Adventures of two Dutch dolls: Some soiling to the front cover and rubbing at the edges. The odd minor scuff and discolouration to the first end paper. Page 25/26 has a tear approx. 2cm . There is some thumb soiling. Page 47 has a tear, approx. 4cm from the bottom. Page 43 and 45 have tears. Discolouration to the end paper. The back cover has minor scuffs and rubbing.
Circus: Soiling to the outer edges of the cover and rubbing. The book is re-attached to the spine. Discolouration to the end papers. Some professional repairs at the edges of the pages. Minor scuffs and rubbing to the back cover.
Bicycle Club: Numerous scuffs and rubbing to the front cover, some interfering with the title and imagery. Small tear to the front end paper and a cartoon illustration in ink facing the frontispiece, inscribed signatures in ink on the frontispiece and discolouration. Erased pencil marks on page 39 but still slightly visible. Scuffing and rubbing to the back cover.
