George V silver and pique tortoiseshell dressing table tray, Birmingham 1919, 30cm x 21cm; also a tortoiseshell and silver mounted heart shaped chamber stick, London 1898, 13.5cm; and a silver mounted tortoiseshell pin tray, London 1903, 22.5cm (3)

Condition: The tray is in good condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the silver consistent with age. There is the odd minute pinprick dent, present but barely visible. The tortoiseshell sits nice and flat. Hall marks are clear but for the maker's mark which is rubbed. On the chamber stick the silver solder at the join of the handle has become detached. The ring handle is slightly misshapen. Hallmarks are clear. The tortoiseshell is in good order. The pin tray has some minor surface scratches. Hallmarks are clear. There is a crack to the underside emanating from the edge to one of the pins attaching the border, approx. 4mm long. There is a sharp scratch near this area approx. 1cm. Some abrasive scratches to the underside of the base. No further damage detected.
